Art Psychotherapy
We provide bespoke support for your child’s emotional and mental health needs, through the medium of art.
Our Art Psychotherapist will have an initial phone call with you to discuss your child or young person’s challenges. If this is the right support option, you will be guided to make a plan for the best starting point.
We do not need a diagnosis to be able to support your child or young person.
We help children and young people who have feelings that are too big, too confusing, or too difficult to put into words.
Our Art Psychotherapist offers children and young people a safe, confidential, therapeutic space where they can explore their experiences through art-making alongside talking, at their own pace.
Six weekly (but sometimes fortnightly) sessions.
Every therapeutic journey is unique, and sessions are shaped around the individual needs, strengths and goals of each child or young person.
We find that for many young people, the first six sessions are just the start. Through discussion with our specialist, you can make a plan for the sessions to be ongoing.
