Supporting the Alfie Nick Foundation

We don’t usually shout about this, but every year we choose a local charity to support financially. Albeit a drop in the ocean, it’s our way of helping more children, and at the end of the day, that's what Now, Next & Then is all about.  

At the start of this school year, the Now, Next & Then team chose the Alfie Nick Foundation to support throughout the year. When I first read about what they do and why, my eyes literally welled! Borne from utter tragedy, after aspects of family life that would have already tested the strongest amongst us, the Alfie Nick Foundation was established in Alfie’s memory.

The Alfie Nick Foundation, steeped in love for Alfie, exists to ‘bring hope to children and families in need’. The 17 year old Alfie had a deep compassion for others and his legacy lives on through the work the Foundation is able to achieve.  How wonderful is this?!

We hope the Alfie Nick Foundation goes from strength to strength, and we’re proud to be supporting in our small way. What would be amazing would be if we could forge a relationship where together we can help even more children and families. Watch this space!
